Fundraiser Supports Plainfield Foundation For Excellence

PLAINFIELD, IL - If you're looking to contribute to your community while enjoying a good meal, you just might be in luck.

Station One Smokehouse has a very special - and delicious - offer for District 202 families and staff.

Visit the restaurant at 15025 S. Des Plaines Street in downtown Plainfield on Nov. 19 or Dec. 17 for lunch or dinner. Then show this flier in person or on your smartphone, and Station One will donate 15% of its proceeds to the Foundation for Excellence.

Since 1983, the Foundation for Excellence has helped students, staff, families and community realize their educational and professional goals and dreams by raising and donating money for scholarships, grants, special programming and community events.

The Foundation has also supported special District 202 programs including a District Art Gallery, the Great Read community reading program and the 1847 Schoolhouse Restoration.
