Garbage Pickup To Start Early Again Amid Hot Temperature In Plainfield
The National Weather Service predicts a high between 85 and 90 degrees on Monday.
PLAINFIELD, IL — Garbage collection in Plainfield will start early again on Monday due to hot temperatures.
With Waste Management's service starting early, residents are asked to place their refuse, recycling and yard waste at the curb by 5 a.m., village staff said in a newsletter Friday.
The National Weather Service predicts a high between 85 and 90 degrees on Monday. Tuesday is only supposed to be hotter, with the high between 90 and 96 and possible peak heat index values above 100 degrees.

Pickup also started early on June 19 and 20 due to above-90-degree temperatures.
