I have always loved to create things but struggled with the pull of working a job and raising a family in this economy. We all know that being creative takes time and time was something I didn't have a whole lot of. Between work, kids, activities and of course groceries and housework, I was too exhausted. I hated my job but it provided the income my family needed to give my children the things I never had as a child. Unfortunately, due to health reasons, I was forced to leave my job this year and learned a lot of important life lessons in the process. Needless to say, I am home now and the creative juices are following. But the income is not. So, I try to find ideas to be creative inexpensively. Pinterest is my new best friend. Coming from generations of "crafters", I will do my best to keep you posted on my creations..... I had to ask my youngest daughter about blogging :( so hopefully I can do this right! Here is a picture of my most recent project.
Tip for Today: After any holiday, look for "starters" on clearance shelves. Sometimes, you can get things up to 75% or more off. Don't worry about the appearance as you could possibly paint over it or cover it.
