Jessica Juckett visited Ready Set Ride in the Spring with her girl scout troop. She heard how the horses and cats help children with special needs feel at home, and how the not for profit barn relies on donations and volunteers to run the program. After finding out that volunteers must be 14 years of age to work with the kids, she knew then what her next project was going to be to assist the animals. Jessica asked for donations to the barn for her new friends instead of birthday presents! Jessica is a second grade student at Patterson Elementary School in the Ashbury subdivision.
