Girls Firefighter/Paramedic Camp In Plainfield

PLAINFIELD, IL — The Plainfield Fire Protection District is offering a Firefighter/Paramedic Camp for girls ages 11 to 15 from 9 a.m. to noon Aug. 1 through 9. The camp will give attendees an opportunity to learn about the fire service and career opportunities within the fire service.

The camp will include a combination of classroom instruction, tours of fire stations and the 9-1-1 center, fire service vehicles and equipment as well as some hands-on training alongside current Firefighter/Paramedics.

To enroll visit the fire district’s website at www.PlainfieldFPD.com to download and complete the required registration forms and return the completed registration forms to the Plainfield Fire Protection District on or before July 27.

Registration forms may be mailed or dropped off at the Fire District’s Headquarters, 23748 W. 135th St., Plainfield, IL 60544.
