Give Back to the Community with the Plainfield Park District and Guardian Angel Community Services!

The Plainfield Park District is joining Guardian Angel Community Services of Joliet in giving holiday joy to families in need with the Angels on Assignment Program. Every year, there are families struggling throughout Christmas and fall on hard times that need help providing for their family during the holiday season.

Individuals can “adopt” a family or single person and fill all items on their request list, including clothing, toys, food and/or a food certificate. Requests lists can be found at the Plainfield Park District Recreation/Administration Center, 23729 W. Ottawa St., Plainfield, IL 60544 by picking a paper ornament from the display Christmas tree located at guest services. All donations are due back to the Recreation/Administration Center by December 9 at noon; we ask that items are not gift wrapped.

For more information on any Plainfield Park District programs, events or gift card purchases, visit www.plfdparks.org, sign-up for our e-news updates, like us on Facebook and/or follow us on Twitter, or call (815) 436-8812.
