Grand Person’s Come to St. Mary’s by the Hundreds!

More than 400 grand people had the opportunity to attend Mass and watch their grandchildren shine recently at St. Mary Immaculate Parish School's Annual Grand Person’s' Day. The day started with an all school Mass attended by grades 1-8 and all of the grand person’s. The church was packed! The grand people in attendance toured the school after Mass and visited the classrooms of their grand students.

The students in second grade performed several songs in the gym as the grand person’s were treated to coffee and refreshments by the St. Mary’s Home and School Association. An overjoyed grandparent said, "I feel proud to see my grandchild perform. This is the third time that I am attending this event. It is a nice feeling to see his school instill such values in him everyday." The students were dismissed at 11:30 am so that they could go to lunch and spend the day with their grand person.
