PLAINFIELD, IL — You might love the food, but sometimes the restaurants you visit aren’t always the cleanest places. And sometimes they are. You can know for sure with a health inspection report.
The Will County Health Department visited HopScotch & Vine April 17 for a routine inspection. The restaurant received a sanitation score of 84 and a corrected score of 96 after making immediate fixes.

- No thermometer in cooler
- Paint chipping on racks in cooler
- No paper towels at back hand sink
- Employee drink on prep table
- Soiled gaskets
- Broken thermometer
- Ripped gaskets
The WCHD went back 30 days after the initial visit to check on the status of the ripped gaskets. The restaurant said they were on order. An additional inspection 30 days later showed the gaskets had been installed.
