Health Inspection Report: Southern Belles

PLAINFIELD, IL — You might love the food, but sometimes the restaurants you visit aren’t always the cleanest places. And sometimes they are. You can know for sure with a health inspection report.

The Will County Health Department visited Southern Belle’s Jan. 4* for a routine inspection. The restaurant received a sanitation score of 75 and a corrected score of 86 once immediate fixes were made.

Some of the items out of compliance were:

• Sweatshirt on food storage rack.
• Back hand sink blocked by garbage can.
• Employee drink on prep table.
• Items uncovered in walk-in cooler.
• Items not labeled in walk-in cooler and prep coolers.
