Health Inspection Report: Sovereign

PLAINFIELD, IL — You might love the food, but sometimes the restaurants you visit aren’t always the cleanest places. And sometimes they are. You can know for sure with a health inspection report.

The Will County Health Department visited Sovereign Jan. 7* for a routine inspection. The restaurant received a sanitation score of 76 and then a corrected score of 86 once immediate fixes were made.

Some of the items out of compliance were:

• Food stored under water lines.
• Spray bottle not labeled with contents.
• Bowl on top of celery.
• No thermometer in dessert cooler.
• No paper towels at downstairs hand sink.
• Ice scoop handles in food.
