Health Inspection Report: Volar

PLAINFIELD, IL — You might love the food, but sometimes the restaurants you visit aren’t always the cleanest places. And sometimes they are. You can know for sure with a health inspection report.

The Will County Health Department visited Volar Nov. 1 for a routine inspection, which is the most recent report available. The restaurant received a sanitation score of 69 and then a corrected score of 90 once immediate fixes were made.

Some of the items out of compliance were:

• Raw beef over ready to eat foods in walk-in cooler.
• No lids on rest room waste cans.
• Ice machine grate moldy.
• Floor soiled under three compartment sink.
