Honor Band Festival To Feature 76 Plainfield D202 Students

PLAINFIELD, IL — Seventy-six musicians from Plainfield's four high schools will perform in an honor band festival Feb. 17.

Plainfield East High School, 12001 S. Naperville Road, will host the annual Southwest Prairie Conference Honor Band Festival, which features two bands: one for first-year students and sophomores, and another for juniors and seniors.

Made up of students from 12 schools, the two honor bands will work with guest conductors from the University of Illinois and Augusta College during the day before performing in the 7 p.m. festival, which the public is invited to attend.
