Information Sessions on Park District Bond Referendum set for Sept. 7 and 28.

The Plainfield Park District Board seeks a bond referendum to replace expiring referendum bonds from 2001.

The Plainfield Park District Board passed, at their August board meeting, to seek a bond referendum to replace expiring referendum bonds from 2001. The question is to be featured on the November election ballot.

The community is invited to attend a public meeting on September 7 or on September 28, 6p at the Recreation Administration Center, 23729 W. Ottawa St., Plainfield. These community information sessions are to discuss, if approved, what the District will do with the funds and how the referendum will affect the taxpayer. All comments, suggestions and questions are welcomed.
