Jeff was an avid baseball fan but was especially loyal to the St Louis Cardinals. He was also a tolerant Bears fan. He loved bicycle riding and completed four century rides from Morris to Moline with his good friend, Randy Lambert. They wore cutoff jeans and used leather seats for their first century. He was a serious home brewer and had a variety of interests including woodworking, photography, gardening, graphic design and going to the gym. He had a keen mind and could build or fix anything. He loved spending time with family and friends and traveling with his wife, Laura. He was just a joy to be around.
