Jeric's Skate Contest Returns To Plainfield
Skateboarders can show off their best tricks for the chance to win on Sept. 9.

PLAINFIELD, IL — A popular skateboarding competition will return to Plainfield next month. The Plainfield Park District will host Jeric's Skate Contest from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 9 at Gregory B. Bott Park, 24550 W. Renwick Road. Each contestant will get a one-minute run to show off their best tricks for the crowd and judges.
Top scorers from the first round will skate in a second round to determine the winner.
The program (#47420) is open to ages 8 and up. The pre-registration fee is $5 and the day-of event price is $10 (cash only). On-site registration starts at 11 a.m.
