Jersey Mike's Donating 100 Percent Of Proceeds To Charity Wednesday
Sales of subs, chips, drinks and catering will benefit local charities.

If you're hungry for a sub and you like to support great causes, Wednesday is your lucky day.
Jersey Mike's Subs says it will donate 100 percent of all sales on March 29 to charity as part of its Day of Giving.
"Day of Giving is the culmination of Jersey Mike’s 7th Annual Month of Giving fundraising campaign in March, supporting nearly 150 local charities across the nation," the company said in a news release. In 2016, Jersey Mike's Month of Giving raised more than $4 million for charities nationwide.

"The opportunities to give are all around us so please seek out your opportunity to give and make a difference in someone’s life," Jersey Mike's founder and CEO Peter Cancro said.
All proceeds from every single sale will go to local charities, whether you buy a sub sandwich, chips, drinks or a catering order.

Purchases made at Illinois Jersey Mike's locations will benefit the following:
- Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago
- Central Illinois Foodbank, Springfield
- Easterseals Central Illinois, East Peoria
- Shriners Hospitals for Children, Shiloh
- The Literacy Council, Rockford
Jersey Mike's said its mission is "Giving…making a difference in someone’s life." Since 2010, the sandwich chain has raised more than $20 million for charities.
