July 4 is tomorrow, so there’s still time to find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you in 2022.

For the first time in two years, both the fireworks show and Plainfield Park District's Patriotic Picnic are returning. At the picnic, visitors will have plenty of activities to partake in, including Touch-A-Truck, inflatables and face painting, among other things.
For those who want to go to see fireworks on July 4 — rather than the night before — or perhaps go to two shows, Oswego is holding its fireworks show on the actual holiday. During the event in Oswego, traffic and parking restrictions will be in effect on streets surrounding the park before and right after the show, officials said. Full details on where to park can be found online.
