Kazmark Appointed to Plainfield Township Park Board
Heather Kazmark was one of three candidates considered and was selected and sworn in at tonight's brief meeting
Really quickly, below are links to the Plainfield Township Park District’s special meeting of June 24th, 2015. Total run time is roughly 5 minutes. Commissioners Peter Hurtado and Peter Steinys were absent. This was a special and brief (in its public session) meeting to appoint a commissioner to fill the seat vacated by Janet Silosky in May.
Applicants considered for the spot were Michael Brann, Greg Eischen, and Heather Kazmark. The board conducted one final interview with each individual during closed session of this meeting and announced their choice of Heather Kazmark after reconvene to open session. Kazmark then took her oath of office.

This appointment takes the board back to its full array of seven commissioners, and fills the slot until the spring 2017 election, when this seat and two others will be on the ballot.
