Learn About Jane Addams at the Plainfield Library Feb. 11

Community members who want to learn more about Chicago Hull House founder Jane Addams can do so on Thursday, Feb. 11 at 11 a.m.

Community members who want to learn more about Chicago Hull House founder Jane Addams can do so on Thursday, Feb. 11 from 11 a.m. to noon at the Plainfield Library, located at 15025 S. Illinois St. in downtown Plainfield.

At the program, participants will be about to “meet” Jane Addams through a historical portrayal. Jane Addams is one of America’s and history’s most respected and admired woman. In addition to founding the Hull House in 1889, she won a Nobel Peace Prize, and worked with the Women’s International League for Peace & Freedom.
