Library to Host Courthouse Finds: Using court documents in your family tree on July 25

The public is invited to a genealogy program, on Monday, July 25 from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the Plainfield Public Library, located at 15025 S. Illinois St. in downtown Plainfield.

Courthouses are great resources for personal family histories including land records and probate files. Tips and tricks for identifying and securing these various types of records will be discussed. Registration required, limited to Plainfield cardholders only.
