Library to Host Showing of Hail, Caesar! on September 2

The public is invited to a showing of the movie, “Hail, Caesar!”, rated PG-13, on Friday, September 2 from 1:00 to 3:30 p.m. at the Plainfield Public Library, located at 15025 S. Illinois St. in downtown Plainfield.

Set in the golden age of Hollywood, the comedy begins with the fixer to the stars Eddie Mannix trying to solve all the problems of the actors and filmmakers at Capitol Pictures. His latest assignments involve a disgruntled director, a singing cowboy, a beautiful swimmer and a handsome dancer. As if all this wasn’t enough, Mannix faces his biggest challenge with a kidnapping to solve! The movie starts at 1:00 pm. Doors open at 12:30 pm. You are welcome to bring snacks with you to enjoy during the movie.
