Library to Host Showing of Hidden Figures on September 1

The public is invited to a showing of the movie, “Hidden Figures”, rated PG, on Friday, September 1 from 1:00 to 3:30 p.m. at the Plainfield Public Library, located at 15025 S. Illinois St. in downtown Plainfield.

The story of a team of female African-American mathematicians who were an important part of NASA during the early years of the U.S. space program. The movie starts at 1:00 pm. Doors open at 12:30 pm. You are welcome to bring snacks with you to enjoy during the movie.
