Library to Host Showing of La La Land on May 5

The public is invited to a showing of the movie, “La La Land”, rated PG-13, on Friday, May 5 from 1:00 to 3:30 p.m. at the Plainfield Public Library, located at 15025 S. Illinois St. in downtown Plainfield.

Sebastian and Mia are drawn together by their common desire to do what they love. But as success mounts they are faced with decisions that begin to fray the fragile fabric of their love affair, and the dreams they worked so hard to maintain in each other threaten to rip them apart. The movie starts at 1:00 pm. Doors open at 12:30 pm. You are welcome to bring snacks with you to enjoy during the movie.
