Library to Host Showing of Love and Friendship on October 19

The public is invited to a showing of the movie, “Love & Friendship”, rated PG, on Thursday, October 19 from 1:00 to 3:30 p.m. at the Plainfield Public Library, located at 15025 S. Illinois St. in downtown Plainfield.

In 18th Century England, a widow tries to land a wealthy husband during a visit to her in-laws. However, she ends up competing with her teenage daughter for the attentions of a suitor. Doors open at 12:30 pm. You are welcome to bring snacks with you to enjoy during the movie.
