Intriguing Game- Week 3
Colts (1-1) at 49ers (1-1)
Colts: The Colts just became a much better team in the last day and a half. They acquired Trent Richardson from the Browns for a first round draft pick. They needed the help in the running game and they have a young back in Trent and he’ll bring so much to this Colts offense. Since 2012, the Colts running backs combined have caught 43 passes. Trent by himself has caught 58 passes so he definitely brings versatility to this offense. You add him to the mix with Reggie Wayne, T.Y. Hilton, Coby Fleener, Andrew Luck and Darius Heyward-Bey and this can be something special. This also helps the Colts because Vick Ballard is done for the year with a torn ACL. To me, the Colts have a really good shot at winning the AFC South now. Sunday, Andrew Luck will square off against his former head coach from his Stanford days in San Francisco.

49ers: The 49ers looked absolutely terrible last Sunday night in Seattle. Their offensive line was beat up front, Kap really looked out of sync, Boldin was shut down and Vernon Davis was a non-factor along with that defense being pushed off the line of scrimmage. Nothing went right for these guys in week two. I still like this team and their chances of winning the conference. With the way the played on Sunday night last week, they’ll come into week three angry, embarassed and fired up. I think an ex-factor for the 49ers moving forward this season will be Mario Manningham because Boldin will see many double teams when he lines up. San Fran will look to get back on track against the Colts.
Prediction: With the addition of Trent Richardson, he gives the Colts more balance as an offense and as a defense, they can always be better. The 49ers will pressure Luck up the middle and force him to throw the ball sooner than later. I like the Niners to get the win. 49ers 28 Colts 17
