Man Found Dead At Plainfield Disc Golf Course: Sheriff

PLAINFIELD, IL — A man was found dead after apparently taking his own life Sunday morning at an area preserve, the Will County Sheriff's Office said. A spokeswoman for the sheriff's office said two people who arrived at the disc golf course at Avery Preserve on Lockport Street on Sunday morning found the man, 35, deceased on the eighth hole.

Police said no one else was injured in the incident. The discovery was made at around 11 a.m., the sheriff's office said.
