PLAINFIELD, IL — A 30-year-old man is accused of sexually abusing an underage victim half his age, according to officials at the Plainfield Police Department.

Jamell B. Ollivierre, of Evanston, is facing eight counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse in connection to an investigation that began at the start of February.

At about 1:49 a.m. Feb. 1, Plainfield police received correspondence from a Joliet officer who said he spoke to the parents of a 15-year-old girl regarding an inappropriate sexual relationship between their daughter and Ollivierre, Commander Anthony Novak told Patch.

An arrest warrant was issued for Ollivierre as a result of the investigation. The man was arrested at about 7:58 p.m. Feb. 22 and taken to the Plainfield Police Department for booking before he was transferred to the Will County jail.
