Masks Required Again In Park District Buildings Starting Saturday
Will and Kendall counties are categorized as "substantial" in transmission levels, so the park district is requiring universal mask wearing.

PLAINFIELD, IL — The Plainfield Park District will require people to wear masks indoors in its facilities, regardless of one's vaccination status, starting Saturday.
The decision, announced Thursday, comes in light of updated mask guidance from the Illinois Department of Public Health and the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention that encourages people to wear masks indoors in coronavirus hot spots. Currently, Will and Kendall counties are categorized as "substantial" in transmission levels.
Officials said this is an effort to slow the spread of the virus and prevent the county from moving into higher risk zones that would likely include tighter restrictions.
