Middle School Girls Brawl Over Mean Texts, 1 Elbows Dean in Face: Police

Two Aux Sable Middle School girls brawled over mean text messages and one was locked up after elbowing a dean in the face, police said.

A 13-year-old girl jumped on top of another student in the far west side school’s cafeteria shortly after noon Thursday, police said. She allegedly proceeded to punch her schoolmate several times and also pulled her hair.

The teen was reportedly angry about text messages the other girl had sent.

An Aux Sable dean separated the girls and was escorting the 13-year-old away when she elbowed him in the face, police said.

The teen was charged with aggravated battery and battery. She was taken to a juvenile lockup.
