Montessori of Plainfield Celebrates Kindergarten Graduation
The Kindergarten Class at Montessori of Plainfield Was Treated to a Graduation Ceremony.

For three years the children have been actively learning under the Montessori method, giving children the tools, they need for success as they begin their grade school years. During the ceremony, each child gave a speech about their experiences and what they are most looking forward to next year in first grade.
"The day was emotional, but we all felt very proud of the children." said Mari-Ann Unger, director of Montessori of Plainfield. "For three years we watched these amazing children blossom with so much pride. They have developed into independent and eager learners, so now it's time they spread their wings and tackle grade school with enthusiasm and confidence," Unger continued.
Typically, Montessori of Plainfield students enroll at three years old and continue through kindergarten, studying numerous subjects often taught in later years with traditional education. For example, art appreciation and history, geography, biology, chemistry, algebra and geometry are all subjects that children at Montessori of Plainfield are exposed to from age three to kindergarten.
