Montessori of Plainfield Gets a Visit from Creepy Crawlers!
On Wednesday, February 28, 2018, the Montessori of Plainfield students spent the morning learning all about the world of reptiles! The reptile expert Mr. Jim Nesci’s Cold Blooded Creatures from New Lenox visited our classroom along with his creepy crawling creatures. The children learned amazing facts about each reptile and were able to pet and see all of the animals up close. It was a fun and educational in-house field trip.

Montessori of Plainfield was founded in August of 2000 by Montessori trained teachers and sisters, Mari-Ann Unger and Linda Mora. The academic preschool and kindergarten is for children ages 3-6 and is a member of the American Montessori Society. Teachers are CPR and first aid certified as well.
