Montessori of Plainfield recently hosted its 16th annual daddy daughter dance held at Tamarack Country
Club in Naperville. The theme for the evening was, "Sugar and Spice."
The couples enjoyed an Italian buffet before the dance began, and each couple received a keepsake
photo in their formal attire. Each daddy received a priceless survey about them filled out by their little princesses and daughters received a goody bag including a tiara. The DJ kept the music flowing all evening and the couples danced the night away.
"Every year this is a very popular event for our students. This year was no different. There was 98 percent attendance by students and their respective fathers," said Mari-Ann Unger, Co-owner of Montessori of Plainfield. Unger continued, "No matter how many times we've held this event, it never fails to stir such emotions in all of the staff - including me. It's so special to see the girls light up, interact with their fathers and enjoy some one-on-one time with them."
