Mother’s Day Events in May at Plainfield Park District

Plainfield Parks is celebrating Mother’s Day with two events for moms in May.

May 4: Mother’s Day Breakfast

Celebrate mom with a Mother’s Day Breakfast on May 4 at Plainfield Township Community Center, 15014 S. DesPlaines St. in Plainfield. The event is open to moms, grandmas, and that special person who is a mother figure. The event includes breakfast and a craft keepsake.

· For ages 2 and up with a responsible adult

· Cost is $12 per park district resident child/$15 for non-residents

· Attendees need to only register their child

· Onsite, day-of registration is $15 per child

May 10: Paint Night Fun with Mom

Spend the evening of May 10 creating a unique work of art with your mom at Plainfield Township Community Center. In addition, enjoy some snacks and other activities in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. All art supplies are provided.

· For ages 6 and up with a responsible adult

· Cost is $15 per park district child/$19 per non-resident child

· Each additional sibling $10R/$15NR

· Onsite registration is $19 per child
