New Accounting Manager Hired For Plainfield Park District

PLAINFIELD, IL — A new accounting manager has been hired for the Plainfield Park District. Kristi Exstrom's first day on the job was April 8.

In Plainfield, Exstrom will primarily be responsible for the day-to-day accounting and financial work, officials at the park district said Thursday.

Before her hiring, Exstrom served as director of tax at Quantix, formerly A&R Logistics, located in Morris, a position she held since 2008. Previously, she advanced from senior accountant to tax manager to director.

Her previous jobs included being senior accountant and auditor at Cygan Hayes Ltd., in Orland Park, and staff auditor at PTW Co., in Oak Brook.

Exstrom holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of St. Francis. She lives in Shorewood with her husband, daughter and two pets — a dog and a cat. According to the park district, Exstrom spends significant time on the weekends watching her daughter's softball games.
