New Award-Winning Dance Studio Open in Plainfield

PLAINFIELD, IL - A new, award-winning dance studio is now open in Plainfield and accepting new students for the 2019-20 season. Raise the Barre Dance Center (RTB) offers classes for dancers ages 3 to 18 in the genres of ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary and hip hop. Located at 24119 W Riverwalk Court, Suite 145, the studio is conveniently situated off Route 59 just north of Downtown Plainfield.

According to Angela Keating, studio owner, “RTB prides itself on its adherence to a founding philosophy called RISE which stands for Respect, Integrity, Self-Esteem and Excellence.” The studio promises quality technical instruction, small class sizes on sprung floors, qualified teachers and a welcoming environment in which students can explore and develop their love of dance. No doubt, these commitments to nurturing the whole dancer contributed to the studio being named as “One of the Best Dance Studios in Will County” in 2018.

Raise the Barre Dance Company, the competitive team for RTB, has won numerous top-score awards for their performances as well as many technique, choreography, costume and entertainment awards at dance competitions throughout the Chicagoland area over the past three years.
