Plainfield Restaurant Week Starts Sunday

See what local eateries are serving up during the first-ever restaurant week.

PLAINFIELD, IL — It's almost time for the Village of Plainfield and Plainfield Area Chamber of Commerce to host the inaugural Plainfield Restaurant Week. The event kicks off Sunday, Jan. 21 and ends Thursday, Jan. 25.

During the event, participating restaurants will offer a special or a discount offering each day. No coupon or ticket is necessary — diners should simply tell their server that they want the Plainfield Restaurant Week offering, according to the website.

Diners are urged to check back with the Plainfield Restaurant Week website for new restaurants and offerings.

Several new specials have recently been added to the list. Here's what local restaurants are cooking up for Plainfield Restaurant Week (new specials listed first):

Brunch - $14 - Sunday 10am-2pm

  • Appetizer:
    • Housemade Grass-fed Butter, Lemon Pepper Ricotta & Pepper Jam
    • Housemade cranberry, pink peppercorn, crushed red pepper & honey butter, lemon pepper ricotta and raspberry pepper jam served with crusty French baguette.
  • Main Course: Chef's Choice Egg Scramble- Made with grass-fed organic eggs, roasted artichoke hearts, fresh tomatoes and feta cheese.

Dinner - $30 - Sunday 2pm-close, Tuesday through Thursday 4pm-close

    • Pork Tenderloin Medallions

Lunch - $15 - (Tuesday through Thursday 11am-4pm)

    • Grilled Artisan Cheese Sandwich - Hickory smoked Gouda melted between thick cut grilled Italian country bread. Served with stone ground mustard and kosher pickle.
    • BLTCC - Cherrywood smoked Nueske bacon, garlic aioli, tomato jam and fresh greens on thick cut toast.
