New Traffic Signal By Costco To Be Turned On Soon

PLAINFIELD, IL — A date has been set to turn on the new traffic signal near Costco at The Boulevard Place in Plainfield.

The village announced Friday that the light on the entrance to Costco on Boulevard Place is tentatively set to be in operation beginning Aug. 5.

New pavement markings will be installed simultaneously, the village said.

Drivers should expect flashing red signals, flaggers and irregular traffic patterns during the signal turn-on.

"Please use extreme caution when driving through the work zone," staff said.
