Norma was a devout Catholic and a long-time member of St. Mary Immaculate Church, volunteering for many of the church and its school’s activities. She lived out her deep respect for all life by offering love, education, and support to women in their pregnancies as a volunteer of Birthright of Joliet.

Family was the center of Norma’s world, to which she dedicated her life. Every single member was very important to her, and she extended her love and concern to each. She was very proud of her children to whom she gave her devoted love and unwavering support. Her greatest joys were her grandchildren, with that joy again renewed with the arrival of her great grandchildren. She enjoyed baking holiday treats, being famously known for her delicious cut out sugar cookies, for which she supervised at family baking gatherings.
