Bridgette Lynn Bond
Age 61, of Lockport, Illinois, passed from this life unexpectedly at home, early Monday morning, May 6, 2024.

Bridgette was born January 14, 1963 in Chicago to the late Cindy and Kenneth Killingsworth. She was raised in Lockport and Chattanooga, TN where she graduated from Lookout Valley High.
She is the beloved wife of Keith Bond; loving mother of Shane (Jackie) Killingsworth, Lisa (David) Spesia, Donna (Michael) LeDuc and Michael (Wendy) Bond; dear sister of Kim (the late Robert) Carden. Bridgette will be remembered fondly by her grandchildren and great grandchildren who knew her as "Gigi", perhaps her favorite role.

An advertising executive in the newspaper industry, She gave countless hours and great creativity to her many clients through the Lockport Sun, the Penny Saver and the Joliet Herald News from which she retired in 2015.
Bridgette's hobbies included gardening, feeding her birds and keeping her dogs busy, however her favorite pastime was being around her family.
All friends and relatives are invited to gather to remember Bridgette on Saturday, May 11, 2024 from 12 Noon until 3 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home 3200 Black Rd. (at Essington Rd.) Joliet. Funeral service will begin at 3 p.m. and will conclude the afternoon.

As it was her wish, cremation rites have been accorded.
