Her son, James M. “Jimmy” Kovac, passed away unexpectedly the same day as his mother on November 1, 2025. Her loving husband, Stephen Kovac; her parents, James and Phyllis; and a brother, Gerald Glasgow, also preceded her in death.

Loving known as “Gramz” and “GiGi”, Carolyn was a caring and kind-hearted person who was always supportive, thoughtful and respectful. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures, especially shopping and discovering the perfect gifts to brighten someone’s day. Her generous spirit and love for others made every moment spent with her a treasured memory.

Carolyn’s greatest accomplishment was the love she had for her family, and the legacy she left behind continues to stand strong.

Cremation rites have been accorded and services for Carolyn will be private. Fred C. Dames Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
