David can be described as a handy guy. There wasn’t a tool made that he didn’t own and there wasn’t anything that he couldn’t make, build, or even fix! He was a diehard Chicago Cubs fan, and enjoyed being outdoors camping or exploring the deep waters scuba diving. If he wasn’t listening to Rock N Roll music, he could be found watching an old Western.

David is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Sandra Kay (nee Klimek) Pierce; son, Dustin Pierce; daughter, Jennifer (Joseph) Ellspermann; four grandchildren, Dustin Pierce, Jr., Addison Gaul, and Aidan and Aria Ellspermann; siblings, Donald (Akemi) Pierce, Calvin Pierce, and Paul Pierce; and his faithful canine companion, “Sheba”. Numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
