Obituary: Dawn LoVetere

Dawn LoVetere (nee Watters)

Dawn LoVetere, age 63, passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood. Dawn was born to loving parents John and Betty (nee Febrow) Watters on November 13, 1961.

Dawn recently celebrated 26 years as a Logistics Manager at Interconex Global Moving Solutions. In her free time, Dawn had true passion for decorating for the holidays and crafting, allowing her creative talents to shine. She also found joy in creating lego masterpieces and loving animals, especially her own loyal companions.

Dawn is survived by her parents; sisters, Deborah (Jerry) Ebenroth and Julie George; her brother, Doug (Carol) Watters; and dear friend and sister-in-law, Sue LoVetere. Many nieces and nephews also survive.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Mark LoVetere.

Visitation for Dawn LoVetere will be Friday, March 21, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until services begin at 12:00 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd. (at Essington Rd) Joliet. Interment will follow at Plainfield Township Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her name can be made to a Humane Society of your choice.
