She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
Surviving to cherish her memory are her children, Edward (late Joan) Thomas, Linda (Jerry) Bruggeman, and Mark (Ruth) Thomas; four grandchildren, Nicole Oostema, Matthew Thomas, Trena (Tony) DuBois, and Jarid Knorr; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Edward Thomas; four sisters, Dorothy, Irene, Evelyn, and Julia; two brothers, William and Matthew.
Funeral Services for Eleanor Thomas will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 30, 2023, at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd., Joliet, IL. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Romeoville, IL. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.
