A resident of Morris and formerly from Joliet passes away at the age of 78.

Age 78, of Morris, IL and formerly of Joliet, IL, passed peacefully, Monday, November 6, 2023 at Lightways Hospice Home of Joliet.

Gloria was born on July 19, 1945 in Evarts, Kentucky to the late Eula Mae (Cox) and Charles Hampton.
She enjoyed being outside when she was able and loved bird watching and feeding them. She also had a love for animals, primarily dogs, but loved them all.

Gloria was the loving wife of 47 years to the late Kenneth L. “Dutch” Bolz; beloved mother of Dianna (Fernando) Lerma of Morris, Kenneth L. Bolz Jr. of Joliet and William (Stacy) Bolz of Plainfield; proud grandmother of Laurie (Steve) Day, the late Jennifer (Conrad) Stanley; Kendall and Carter Bolz; proud great-grandmother to Brady Day, Logan Stanley, Scarlett Day and Lillian Stanley.
She was the last surviving sibling of six children born into the Hampton family.
Services for Gloria Lee Bolz were held privately on Thursday, November 16, 2023 with interment near her beloved “Dutch” at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
