John Thomas Schumacher
Age 66, a lifelong Joliet, Illinois resident died unexpectedly, on Monday, January 20, 2025, at his home. John was born May 12, 1958, to Marilyn (Spittal) and the late Eugene Schumacher. He was a graduate with the class of 1976 from Joliet West High School.

In addition to his beloved mother, Marilyn, he is also survived by his brothers, Nick (Pauline), Mike (Jane), James (Maurene), and William Schumacher; and nephews, William, James, Jess, Brock, Chase, and Bradley.
John is preceded in death by his father, Eugene; and will also be welcomed home by his good buddies, Mike Senffer, Dan Knarr, and Sean Sterr, who like John, left us too soon.

A retired painter, John was a long-time member of Local #33. He also enjoyed fishing and overall just enjoying life with those he loved.
As it was John’s wish services will be held privately.
