Kathryn Lee Sullivan
Kathryn Lee Sullivan, age 83, passed away peacefully at her home in Joliet, on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, surrounded by the love of her family. Kathryn was born in Alton, IL, on July 6, 1941, the daughter of the late Edward and Leona (nee Lyons) Burke.

Kathy grew up in Rock Island, IL where she was a graduate of Alleman High School. In 1977 Kathy moved to the Joliet area where she began working as a credentialing specialist in the Medical Staff Office at St. Joseph’s Medical Center, a job she held for 32 years.
Kathryn is survived by her children, Douglas (Susan) Sullivan, Diane (Ian) Galleher, and Karen (Brent) Moats; as well as nine grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jack Burke; and son, Daniel Sullivan, Jr.
Funeral services for Kathryn will be held privately by the family.
Memorials may be made in her name to either Chicago Botanic Garden or Lightways Hospice.
