Mary L. Shutty
Mary L. Shutty passed away peacefully at the age of 94, on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at the Timbers of Shorewood. Mary was born on November 5, 1930, in Pontiac, IL, the daughter of the late Jacob and Loretta (nee Stewart) Homer.

Mary enjoyed watching game shows on television. Her greatest enjoyment and love, though, was spending time with her family, never missing a family party.
Mary is survived by her son, Glenn Shutty; grandsons, Stephen (Kathleen) Pelinski, and Adam Pelinski; great-grandsons, Ethan, Dylan, and Austin; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Pamela Pelinski; and son-in-law, Stephen Pelinski.
As it was her request, cremation rites have been accorded. Inurnment will be held privately by the family at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
