Loving, supportive husband, father and grandfather passed away at age 74.

Michael Philip Bialon
Michael Philip Bialon, passed away peacefully at his home in Plainfield early Wednesday morning on July 17, 2024, with the love of his family by his side, at the age of 74. Michael was born on December 2, 1949, the son of the late Donald and Helen (nee Dialowy) Bialon. Born and raised in Chicago, Mike was a graduate of St. Lawrence High School and received his Bachelor’s Degree from Lewis University.

Growing up on the South Side, Mike was a Chicago White Sox and Bears fan. He enjoyed golfing with friends, playing cards, and spending time with his family. With five grandsons, there was always a sporting event to be at. He was their biggest fan and beyond proud to be in the crowd, cheering them on!
Mike is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Carol (nee March); his daughter, Amy (Eric) Jensen; son, Adam (Laura) Bialon; grandsons, Andrew, Matthew and Luke Jensen, and Benjamin and Felix Bialon; brother, Royce (Barb) Bialon; sisters-in-law, Gail (the late Robert) Butcher, and Janice (John) Slawinski; and his faithful canine companion, “Paulie”. Numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

He is preceded by his parents; sister, Donna La Bolle; brother, Russel Bialon; and his lifelong best friend, Ron Stuart.
Visitation for Michael Philip Bialon will be held from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m., on Sunday, July 21, 2024 at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd. (at Essington Rd.) Joliet, IL. Funeral Services will be held at 9:15 a.m., on Monday, July 22, 2024, from the funeral home to Holy Family Catholic Church, 600 N. Brookforest Dr., Shorewood, IL, where a mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. As it was his request, cremation rites will be accorded following services.
