Richard J. Lagoski
Richard J. Lagoski passed away at the age of 81, on February 12, 2025, at the Pearl of Joliet, IL. He was born on September 1, 1943, to the late Andrew and Beatrice (nee Shats) Lagoski. He was raised in Chicago by his mom and stepdad, Walter Koepp. Richard proudly served in the United States Air Force.

Richard loved watching movies and was known as a “movie buff”, knowing everything and anything about all movies. He enjoyed all food, especially loving his Burger King. Throughout the years he gave to many charities, two of his favorite being the Humane Society and St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
Richard is survived by his cousins, Joanne (Chris) Adas, Mary (Joe) Fontanetta, John (Judy) Shats, Jim (Geri) Shats, and Nancy (Joe) Sirilla; and numerous great-cousins.

He was preceded in death by cousin, Patricia Parker.
As it was his request, cremation rites have been accorded. Inurnment will be held at a later date at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
