Robert Ford, age 66, passed away peacefully on Mar 18,2023 at Lightways Hospice in Joliet, IL. He was born on September 25, 1956, in Warsaw, IN.
Robert grew up in Manchester, IN. Robert (Bob) worked for Sharp and Dyson Electronics. Bob was a member of IPMS model club. He enjoyed and had a passion for building and collecting models. He will be remembered for being Bob or Favorite Uncle.

He is survived by his siblings Willard (Luz) Ford and John (Yon) Ford; half sister, Bonnie (Don) Hathaway; niece, Evelyn Ford; and nephew, Matthew (Jaimy) Ford.
Preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Evelyn Ford and brother, James (Sally) Ford.

Visitation for Robert Ford will be held Wednesday, March 29, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until a Funeral Service begins at 11:00 a.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd. (at Essington Rd.), Joliet, IL. Friends and family will meet for Committal Prayers and Entombment Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at in the Chapel at Graceland Cemetery, 1505 Morthland Dr., Valparaiso, IN.
